We process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. The legal bases for data processing result from Art. 6 para. 1 GDPR.

§3 Contact Form

If you send us a request via the contact form, your details from the form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored for the purpose of processing the request and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent.

The contact form currently processes your data client-side only. Data is only stored on our servers if you contact us directly via email.

§4 Hosting (Vercel)

This website is hosted via Vercel. The provider is Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA.

When you visit our website, Vercel may automatically collect server log files containing information such as: IP address, date and time of access, URL accessed, browser type and operating system.

As Vercel Inc. is based in the United States, this involves a transfer of personal data to a third country outside the EU/EEA. Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and additionally relies on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as an appropriate safeguard pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR.

§5 Account and Membership Data

If you create an account in our customer portal, we process your email address, encrypted login credentials and your subscription/membership status through a specialized backend and authentication service acting on our behalf.

§6 Payment Processing

If you purchase a subscription, your payment is processed by an external payment service provider acting on our behalf. This provider receives the data necessary to process your payment, such as your name, email address, billing address and payment details.

We do not store your full payment details (e.g. card numbers) on our own servers.

§7 Fonts (locally hosted)

This website uses the fonts Inter and JetBrains Mono. Both fonts are locally hosted and served directly from our website. No data is transmitted to external font providers.

§8 Cookies and Tracking

This website does not use tracking cookies, analytics tools, or advertising tracking. No user data is collected or shared for advertising or analytics purposes.

If you log into the customer Portal, our authentication service stores strictly necessary session data (e.g. in local browser storage) to keep you logged in. This is technically necessary to provide the Portal and does not require your consent under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR and § 25 para. 2 TTDSG.
